This will be your first encounter with one of the biggest cities of the southern hemisphere. We will visit the colorfull neighborhood of La Boca –influenced by Italian immigrants- the historical Plaza de Mayo surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Government headquaters), the metropolitan cathedral and the ancient Cabildo, base of the Spanish kings. We continue through the Avenida de Mayo with its high Spanish unfluence until the square of the two cingresses, in front of the national parliament. From here, we follow the Avenida Callao, until it crosses the Avenida Corrientes “the one that never sleeps”, to one of the most emblematic symbols of Buenos Aires : The Obelisc, standing in the middle of one of the widest avenues in the world, the Avenida 9 de Julio, where the famous teatro Colon majestically stands. To the northeast, we reach one of most residencial neighborhoods of Buenos Aires : La Recoleta with its touch from Paris and the big trees of Palermo, inviting you to just walk around. We will also visit its famous cemetary, where we will see Eva Peron’s grave, amogst other figures of the argentine history. We then return to the Hotel and will meet later on for the motorcycle paperwork and a common dinner, at one of the famous Tango Shows which made Buenos Aires famous.
Day 3: Buenos Aires – La Paz - 600 km After taking over the motorcycles, we head north to the province of Entre Rios, crossing the Zarate Brazo Largo complex. Following the shore of the Rio Parana, we will arrive in La Paz, where our hotel has, a magnificent view on the river. You certainly will enjoy their thermal facilities. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: La Paz – Colonia Pellegrini - 450 km. After breakfast, we head to the province of Corrientes, through the area of lagoons, one of the main fresh water reserve worldwide, and we will have the opportunity to see the incredible fauna and flora, typical of this natural paradise. We will have dinner and spend the night in one of the oldest Estancias (Farm) of this area.
Day 5: Colonia Pellegrini – El Soberbio - 400 km
We continue our journey to the province of Misiones and we arrive at El Soberbio, where we will establish our base camp for a visit of the Saltos del Mocona waterfalls, on the Rio Uruguay.
Day 6: El Sobierbio - Puerto Iguazú - 400 km Today we start early to visit the Saltos del Mocona waterfalls, which is a result of a fracture in the bed of the Rio Uruguay. We also can take this opportunity for a refreshing dip into its waters. We then continue to the town of Foz do Iguazu, in Brasil.
Day 7: Visit of the Iguazu national Park The visit of the Iguazu national park and its famous waterfall will be an unforgettable experience. Lunch inside the park.
Day 8: Foz do Uguazu – Campos Novos - 600 kms. We now drive into the brasilean mainland, through roads following plains and crossing towns which were originally settlements of europeans, who colonized the brasilean south as well as the argentinean mesopotamia.
Day 9: Campos Novos - Florianopolis - 350 kms. This evening, we will encounter the atlantic ocean, on the island of Florianopolis, starting pont of our discovery of the southern brasilean coast.
Day 10: Florianopolis Today we visit the beaches of this beautiful island
Day 11: Florianopolis - Torres - 300 kms We start exploring the brasilian coast, until we reach the magnificent beach resort of balneario de Torres, passing through Garapaba.
Day 12: Torres – El Chuy - 670 kms. We continue alongside the atlantic coast, until the town of El Chuy, which marks a very dynamic border between Brasil and Uruguay.
Day 13: El Chuy – Punta del Este - 280 km In the morning we head along the coast of Uruguay, until we reach Punta del Este the most chic and cosmopolitan beach resort of south america. It is here that the south american jet set gathers during the summer. Driving down the coast, we will pass through La Paloma, another beach town which gained a lot of fame in the last few years.
Day 14 : Punta del Este A free day to visit Punta del Este and its surroundings. Lunch at your discretion, dinner at our hotel.
Day 15: Punta del Este – Colonia - 300 Kms On our last riding day, we continue to follow the coast of the Rio de la Plata, world’s widest estuary, through Uruguay’s capital Montevideo, until we reach the historical city of Colonia
Day 16: Colonia and Buenos Aires
In the morning, we will do a walking tour of the city center of Colonia and we will have lunch in the historical center.In the afternoon, we will take the ferry with all the vehicles to Buenos Aires and return the motorcycles. You will then be transferred to your hotel . In the evening, we will have our farewell dinner in one of the famous steak houses of the argentinian capital.
Day 17: Fly out After breakfast, we will transfer you to the international airport of Ezeiza for your flight home.
