Day 03: Breakfast. Excursion: “Iguaçu Falls - Brazilian side, and Itaipu Dam” Along this tour you will enjoy a Panoramic view of the 270 waterfalls. We will have the chance of admiring the largest hydroelectric dam in the world, Namely, Itaipú. This huge engineering piece of work took 17 years to be constructed and 40 thousand workers were hired during this period. The Figures are really amazing: the 18 turbines generate 12.600.000 kilowatts, the Dam is 7,600m long and the lake formed is one of the largest in the world, with a surface of 1.500 sq.km. and 24 billion cubic metres of water. In Guaraní, Itaipú means "the stone that sings". Return to the hotel. Accommodation. Day 04: Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport for departure flight.
