IGUAZU FALLS - 4 days / 3 nights
Day 01: Arrival at Puerto Iguazú Airport . Meeting and transfer to the hotel of your choice for accommodation.
Day 02: Breakfast. Full day excursión: “Iguazu Falls – argentinean side”.
Among the thick tropical jungle, the Iguazú river plunges from a height of over 75m as a thick curtain of 270 falls Over an amphitheatre-shaped precipice. Enjoy the inferior and superior circuits Along perfectly marked catwalks which lead to Bozzetti, San Martín, Two Sisters Falls , among others, in a continuous succession of rainbows. No doubt, the most Impressive fall is the Devil's Gorge, which can be reached after a short bus/boat Ride: a huge mass of foaming waters in a constant never-ending roar. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 03: Breakfast. Excursion: “Iguaçu Falls - Brazilian side, and Itaipu Dam”
Along this tour you will enjoy a Panoramic view of the 270 waterfalls. (*Optional*: Overflight on helicopter).
We will have the chance of admiring the largest hydroelectric dam in the world, Namely, Itaipú. This huge engineering piece of work took 17 years to be constructed and 40 thousand workers were hired during this period. The Figures are really amazing: the 18 turbines generate 12.600.000 kilowatts, the Dam is 7,600m long and the lake formed is one of the largest in the world, with a surface of 1.500 sq.km. and 24 billion cubic metres of water. In Guaraní, Itaipú means "the stone that sings".
Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 04: Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport for departure flight.
